We, the people of The Parks, Bracknell, we're saddened and angered by the news of Dominic Kidd being assigned another postal route.
He is so hard working, he ensures our post is delivered to us, is left in a safe place or left with a known neighbour. He will always stop for a chat and is such a lovely gentleman.
The problems encountered on the route are due to replacement postmen/women and couriers who leave our parcels on doorsteps, say they have delivered parcels when they haven't, do not give us enough time to answer the door, have left parcels with unknown neighbours and ignored notes of instructions.
I myself order a lot online and have experienced a lot of this below standard service. I have even had my door note removed by couriers and other postmen/women and find myself more and more at the overly busy and slow delivery office which is a total inconvenience.
The treatment of Dominic has been completely unfair and misinformed and we, the undersigned vote to reinstate him back to his regular route.

The post office is still dodging my emails while our parcels keep going missing or rotting on doorsteps. They think we will just quiet down and accept this pathetic service but they are dead wrong.

The Royal Mail management thought we would just roll over and accept this pathetic new service. They are dead wrong because this momentum proves that our community is finished with their excuses and we are demanding the return of our postie.

He is always a pleasure to talk to. Any issues experienced with our mail is down to courier services, please reinstate. On another note what would reassigning a postal worker do...in theory it would just move the problem somewhere else not even a solution.
Please bring back Dominic. Any complaints will have been incorrectly directed (intended for temp staff or silly couriers....NOT Dominic). A great loss of one of the last traditions: the local Postie. Bring him back!
Bring back our postman. For the first time ever today i have had the wrong post !! Domenic was always really friendly and we never had any issues.
Top postman. I've often bumped into him well after his working hours trying to make sure we get our post!
The issue was not Dominic, he deserves a friendliness award! The issue is/was a weeks worth of post in one day... Sorting office delays???!

Don’t see why he was ever reassigned. We certainly never had an issue with him, always polite and friendly! Plus he lives where he was posted so he knows us all! He knows the ones that have kids so take a few mins more to get to the door, which ones will be doing School runs so can work around it, knows when we’re out coz he knows the cars arent about and doesn’t bat an eyelid when your in your jammies at 2pm coz he knows you do night shifts! What better person for the route? See sense and give us our postie back!
