This petition is to voice the concern and disgust of the residents of Little Elm, Frisco, and Prosper areas regarding the poor and irresponsible road conditions of FM423. FM423 road construction is controlled by TXDOT and has been all but progressive and for the majority, downright dangerous. FM423 is the ONLY exit for subdivisions like Frisco Ranch, Frisco Hills and part of Sunset Point. Thus, forcing its residents onto harmful roadways due to lack of alternative routes. Include the boom of population and the exponential home and business construction occurring, the conditions will only get worse. This is a road that our children and loved ones travel every day not by choice, but by necessity. We need to make it safe and finish quickly!!!

I am concerned for my kids safety while riding the school bus and traveling on 423! Is it going to take a bus falling off that ledge or flipping over trying to turn off Panther Creek and children getting injured or killed before something is done about this?!

423 is dangerous and is taking too long to complete. There have been many occasions when rebar has been sticking out of the road for days. The corners are completely mud and torn up. There is no safe place to pull over if there is an issue.

423 is dangerous and the construction is poorly managed. The potholes are atrocious and the Crystal Lake entrance/exit to Frisco Ranch neighborhood has been blocked off despite being just as "complete" for several weeks now as the Frisco Ranch inbound lane. Why????

423 is ridiculous. Not only am I fearful driving at night, but I have to leave my house 45 minutes earlier than normal to get to work at a decent time due to traffic. I have also had to have 2 tires replaced because of the horrible road conditions.

Primary concern is our safety and that of our family and neighbors. Horrible lighting, lane markings and twists and turns make this road extremely dangerous. Construction takes time, fine I get it but at least make it SAFE to travel at night!

The construction on 423 is going painfully slow. I am home during the week and I see so few workers. I wonder all the time if it will ever get completed. I am always scared driving on that road due to amount of traffic and the horrible road conditions.
