We, the undersigned are against the decision of Roddons Housing Association to remove the surviving daughter from her family home of 50 years. Sandra has recently lost her mother whose name was on the tenancy agreement, unfortunately Sandra was not on this agreement even though Sandra had been told by the council (pre Roddons take over) that she would be safe in her home under succession of tennancy. Sandra has lived at this address her whole life, she had to give up work & for the last twenty years she has been a carer for her mother who was disabled & required full time care. We feel that it is unfair to turn Sandra out of her home where she has so many memories, in a community surrounded by family & friends. Please sign as every signature counts, & next time it could be a member of your family or a friend. Communities are important!

I never imagined that so many people would take interest in Sandra's situation. Reading through your messages has made me realize just how much this community cares about looking after one another. This is moving forward because of all of you and I am just doing my best to keep up.

This is terrible. She took care of her mum for years and this is the thanks she gets? Disgraceful.

TOTAL DISGRACE. How can they do this to someone who give up everything to care for her mum.

Sandra needs to stay. Local council promised her she was safe and they should keep that word.

Heartless. Where is she supposed to go now? Let the woman stay in her own home.

50 years is a lifetime! Shame on Roddons for treating people like numbers.
