Recently, you saw fit to evict the DeCecco family from Bowron Court of the Mount Seymour Lions Housing for the end of August 2015. In light of the incredible hardship this is creating, coupled with Ms DeCecco's successful attempts to change her situation, pay rent early or on time for several months now, we the undersigned are asking that you reconsider and allow this family to stay, perhaps on a trial basis. Obviously, Lions Housing is a compassionate endeavour, and we are asking for that now for this family. This family are excellent tenants and a well liked addition to this community. Thank you.

This type of housing was created to help out families like Tracie's family. Evicting them would lead to increased hardships and unnecessary financial burdens.
I have known Tracie 30+ years and she has always stood true to her word without falter. To evict this wonderful single mother and her children due to temporary hardship is just cruel all around. Please reconsider your grounds.
I have lived in North Vancouver since 1976 and have known Tracie for almost 10 years when her children were very young. Our friendship has grown through the years and I know she is a reliable honest and hard working individual who is finding the current economy a real trial at the moment. I believe she should be allowed to stay in her current housing situation at the Lion's Club Housing for the present time and until it is feasible economically for her to move on to other options as her financial situation improves. .
Tracie and her kids are excellent neighbours. She was among the first to welcome me into the community. It seems the one and only problem (late rent) has been solved. I hope you can find it in your hearts to be flexible and reconsider. I feel certain she wouldn't let it happen again, and a trial basis would protect you.
Tracie is a warm and compassionate person. I may only know Tracie through facebook, what I have come to know is how compassionate, full of life, love for her children and just all around good nature she has. Strongly reconsider your position ... I hope an agreement can be made and she isnt forced to relocate not just home but schooling for her children as well!
I have watched Tracy struggle for years to support herself and her sons with no help. Don't add to her struggles by going forward with this eviction.

I was under the impression that this housing is for families that need it. From what I know about Tracie and her situation, she definitely fits the bill. The directors in charge need to look at and oversee how things are being run and dealt with. She and her two sons need to and deserve to stay there, not allowing this is in essence putting them out on the street and becoming homeless. I was under the impression that the Lions are there to help lift people up, not pull them down. Do the right thing, and allow them to stay. She is an integral piece of the puzzle in that housing complex. Regards, Scott Taylor
