The facilities for children and young people in Rhoose are either inadequate, none existent, and some are even dangerous. We, as a community should be provided with adequate play and recreational facilities for our children and young people. Talking to residents, this is an opinion that is shared. To show how we feel, I believe that a petition is a good start. By signing this petition, you are showing that you believe that something drastic needs to be done about parks and recreational facilities within our village. Pass the message on!

I have been walking through the local parks again this week and seeing the state of the equipment is honestly exhausting. It is clear that the current situation is failing our children but I am still pushing forward with the council to demand real change.

Reaching this point has been an exhausting uphill climb but seeing the momentum grow confirms that I am not alone in this frustration. It is draining to fight for basic improvements when the neglect is so obvious. Even so I am staying with it because our children truly deserve a safe place to play.

Rhoose needs more parks for a growing population of families. Barry and cowbridge seem to get funding for facilities and Rhoose doesn't
Refuse to take my daughter to any parka in rhoose as they are inadequate and dangerous. Our children deserve better
I've been saying for months that I'm going to querie about the park, bottom of Smeaton Close. Would love to see a new one there now or take the rusty old one down it's dangerous!!
Some of the parks in rhoose are exactly the same as when I was a child 18 years ago! They need updating and as an expanding village we are in desperate need of facilities.
I drive to Barry just to take my children to a decent safe Park. I wish there was one in walking distance that is nice to play in. Celtic way and adenfield way parks both massive areas such a waste. Every park in Barry has been done they even have a splash park. We have the areas for the same too! Please sort the parks for our children!

I live in Rhoose and feel that some of the parks need money spent on them.Im signing this petition in the hope that you hear the voices of the rhoose parents and children, and place money back in the rhoose area and community as it is so needed.Some of these parks are not only looking tired but also dangerous.
