If you have kids (or grandkids) and live near Love St Blacktown, then you have probably noticed that the park remains pretty bare and not very kid friendly.
Many other parks around the area have undergone playground replacement and upgrade. In other areas of Blacktown City Council and surrounding council areas there are modern, exciting and safe playgrounds.
We believe that Love St Park is a great contender for such an upgrade. There are lots of kids in the area and this park has the advantage of being highly visible to nearby residents and passers-by so it is less likely to be vandalised and more likely to be a safe place for your kids (or grandkids) to play.
Please join this petition to convince Blacktown City Council to fix up our park.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you want a playground for our local kids. This momentum belongs entirely to the neighborhood and I am just happy to play a small part in connecting us all.

My kids have nothing to do around here. We have to drive 15 mins just to find a slide that isnt broken. Please fix this council!!
Love st is basically just a patch of dirt right now. Such a waste of space when there are so many families moving into the neighborhood.
