This petition has been set up to obtain signatures in order to petition the Vale of Glamorgan Council to improve the Children's playground in Dinas Powys. Penarth and Barry parks have recently received investment whilst the standards of the playgrounds in Dinas Powys have declined.

Reaching this point has been a draining road but seeing the momentum grow gives me the resolve to keep going. I am tired of seeing our local spaces neglected when other areas get the funding they need. We have earned a seat at the table and I intend to keep pushing until the council listens.

One decent park which is not accessible when its been raining is not acceptable given the number of children in the area.
Dinas Powys parks clearly need revamping. Hardly anything in the park at the community centre and Seel park is very outdated!
Improve the play ground make it bigger and tidy put some more stuff for kids to play.
The parks are in need of investment, and better access to the park on the common seems sensible too!
There needs to be more parks around Dinas Powys and more variety in them.
Please update our parks
Safe, accessible, inclusive and developmentally challenging in various domains eg sensory etc play parcs required. Would benefit many.

Park on southra eastate haven't been update since I've live here 14 years! Not sure when it last got updated!!
