The school board members have been silent despite the growing list of names on this petition. Call your local representative today and demand they recognize our community preference before the upcoming board meeting.

My children love the teachers at their BASE program!! They are caring and wonderful and interact so much with the children. I think kids get used to seeing a familar face in the morning and afternoon and if you take what they are used to away, it will frighten many of them. Especially young kindergarteners. Stability is very big for a child. If this corporation comes in and has a high turnover rate, that will not be good for the children. Ultimately though, this staff is amazing and our kids respect them, are used to seeing them, and look forward to it. I had a point personally where my child didn't want me to give her breakfast because they wanted to see what they were having and convinced me it was "way better". That says alot right there.
Why change something that's perfect as a working mother it's very important where your children get care and base is like leaving your child with family
Providing safe and affordable after school care is essential in our community. It would be irresponsible to discontinue this program. These programs are providing a safe environment for kids and allowing parents to work outside the home who would otherwise be restricted because of child care.
This is an important part of our children's day, I want to keep it, as we deserve to have local care givers, local providers, local spend in our community, and keep local businesses afloat. Please share this with everyone that you know. Thank you!
As a working mother of 2, I would not be capable of handling my work responsibilities and earning a good income without services such as this. I admire all of the staff and appreciate that I can trust them with my children to educate then, teach them compassion, help them to learn life skills, and care for them as the own while I earn money I pay my school and property taxes to Bensalem Township! Keep base for the kids, parents, and economy!
Where else are we supposed to send our kids when there's no one to take them to school?

This program has been a critical supplement to the growth and education of both of my children. This workshop helps nurture an environment of learning and give our children a safe, structured and fun environment in which extend their school day. It would be a horrible shame for a short sighted financial decision (not backed by the tax payers of this community) to disrupt an extremely effective and greatly appreciated program.
