I spent the afternoon walking the perimeter of the track thinking about how quickly our open spaces are disappearing. People keep reaching out to share their memories of this land and it proves just how vital this ground is for everyone in Sunbury.

Seeing this groundswell of support for our Racecourse land proves that our neighbors care just as deeply about this heritage as I do. We have built undeniable momentum that the council can no longer ignore.

Sunbury is getting way too crowded with all these new estates. We need to keep some green space for everyone to enjoy instead of just building more houses.
We need more parks not more concrete. Seriously council stop selling everything off.
Leave it as it is. It's beautiful out there and we need the recreation area for the kids and for walking the dog.
My kids love playing out there. It would be a crime to pave over that much history and nature.
KEEP IT PUBLIC. don't sell it off to developers!!

This land is part of what makes our town special. Once it is gone we cant get it back.
