Radio Control Car (off road) community.
Part 3 - Issue of Concern
Draw the attention of the Elected Members of the City of Salisbury to (identify the issue):
The Radio Control car community has no place to use their 1/10th, 1/8th and 1/5th scale off-road Nitro and Electric vehicles which is safe and suitable for the hobby/sport of off-road RC car racing.
BMX tracks do not provide a safe and suitable environment for this hobby and people with RC cars. They are to rough and the jumps are often to big and are a major cause of damage to vehicles which can be value from $150 to in excess of $1000.
Part - 4 The Prayer
The petitioners therefore request that the Council (outline the action that the petitioners are requesting Council should or should not take):
We would like to see a dedicated track build to suit the RC car hobby in area which is away from housing and has access to public toilets and a reasonable area for parking when the RC community gather to have some fun together. One possible location would be in St Kilda recreation park, as this already has the toilet facilities and the car parking spaces, all we would need is to have the area located.

I honestly cannot believe how fast this is moving since I started the thread and I keep checking my phone just to see the notifications piling up. It is pretty wild to think that people actually want a dedicated space for these cars as much as I do because usually I feel like the only one stressing about the lack of tracks around here. Hopefully the council guys are paying attention to all this activity because we really do need a proper spot that is not just a beat up BMX jump.

Adelaide is short on good, dedicated RC facilities. Would be a positive change to see something North of the City.
We need a rc park. Where enthusiasts can go and interact. Socialize and enjoy rc racing
Adelaides northern suburbs need a rc track badly. Somewhere safe for the kids a nd families to go .somewhere where we can have a 10th 8th and 5th scale tracks. Thanks Greg Murphy
A rc track might get some kids of the computer and get some fresh air. There has not been a rc track in the north for at least 15 years
I'd love to have a rc club in the northern end of Adelaide where I live and would join for sure

A fantastic idea the north really needs a 1/8 scale offroad nitro track! I am sure that we will have enough rc enthusiasts to make it viable.
