Christophe Harbor, one twelfth of the island of St Kitts, has been neglected by its development company led by Charles "Buddy" Darby. Little or no action for 12 years. Monies being borrowed from local institutions to get by, debts incurred, a mess begging to be cleaned up by a worthy developer. Great promises made, great expectations by investors and citizens of St Kitts & Nevis, culminating in great loss and frustration to stakeholders and to the people of this beautiful twin-island nation who do not deserve this treatment which they received at the hands of Darby and his colleagues. Despite endless promises, this developer has failed to deliver.

By signing this petition, you demand immediate corrective and preventive action to save Christophe Harbor from further neglect.

It is crucial that we put pressure on the St Kitts & Nevis Government, led by Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Terrance M. Drew, to take immediate and decisive action. It must hold this developer accountable and ensure that the promises either kept or the property is returned to the people of St Kitts.

Please sign this petition now.

I have spent this week meeting with local stakeholders who are just as tired of these empty promises as I am. Your stories of frustration prove that we are not alone in demanding accountability for our land.

Watching this movement grow confirms that I am not the only one grieving for the potential of our island. Seeing your collective frustration turn into this clear demand gives me real hope that we can finally force a change.

I purchased a homesite at CH in 2104 on the promises and commitments of B Darby and co. In spite of my repeated requests for an update on progress from the developer I receive nothing. It is time that something is done about this.

So many major tourism oriented projects were started and completed in several Eastern Caribbean countries, since Christophe Harbor, but in SK, we are infested with too many unfinished projects, including Kittitian Hill and other CBI related projects. Clearly, there is something extraordinarily wrong. Who is really working in the interest of the people of SKN?

PLEASE SAVE THIS LAND!! This is st kitts most famous view, the view from Timothy hill will be absolutely ruined by all of this destruction and construction. SAVE the tourism to the nicest and most local beach bars on this strip of land! Save discovery beach bar and the sweetest bar owner in all of st kitts and Nevis!

I am British but am a proud resident of beautiful SKN. The government have to stop selling our heritage. The Christophe Harbour scheme and CBI will damage our future reputation and economy.

The area is of critical importance to the sustainable development of the country as a whole. It must be carefully developed in light of its environmental and economic importance. Several studies already exist of the area that can help in understanding the area that can serve as a guide to its future.
