Waiver of lease rentals for AB Plaza 9- Al Nahda 1 (Dubai)
At the outset, we would like to appreciate the excellent relationship that the tenants (as per list
attached) of AB Plaza 9 building has had with Al Baker Real Estate Management over the past so many
years. Most of us have been tenants of this building for multiple years and have always adhered to the
regulations and policies laid down by Al Baker Real Estate. Furthermore, as good tenants we have always
strived to meet our lease obligations and have never defaulted on the same.
We are writing this letter to you to seek your support during this unprecedented time, wherein Covid-19
has impacted global economies and our businesses and jobs are no exception. This year all of us are
going through difficult cash flow situations arising out of either business disruptions or pay cuts in case
of working employees.
This situation is leading us to a point wherein, we have no option but to seek relief from our landlord
considering that the lease rentals are the single most important and largest component of our monthly
We also believe that a unified approach as presented below will ease the work-load of Al Baker Real
Estate Management and save valuable time of its staff and resources to deal with each tenant
separately for the same matter.
Accordingly, based on our relationship we would like to request:
To waive rentals for a period of 3 months and hold our next rent cheque from presenting to the bank
and requesting you to refund it back to us immediately. We are confident that Al Baker Real Estate
Management would consider the same positively in terms of all the measures taken by the wise
leadership of UAE for the benefit of the UAE residents.
