Ms. Thu Do has dedicated 25 years of exemplary service to St. Linus in her roles as a teacher, vice principal, and now as principal. Her unparalleled experience, unwavering dedication, and steadfast leadership have profoundly shaped the school’s identity and its commitment to the development of its students.
During her tenure as principal, Ms. Do successfully guided our school through the immensely challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring that students continued to thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually in an unprecedented time. Her remarkable ability to navigate obstacles has left a lasting impact on our community.
Ms. Do’s leadership has also ushered in significant improvements to our school’s infrastructure. Through her tireless advocacy, she secured renovations funded by the Shea Foundation, upgrading all of the classrooms, installing much needed HVAC units, modernizing the school computer / science lab and completely renovating the bathrooms. She was also key in transforming the once-dilapidated playground and field into a beautiful, state-of-the-art playing field with artificial turf. These accomplishments demonstrate her determination to the betterment of St. Linus for our children, both present and future.
To lose Ms. Do as principal would be an irreparable loss to St. Linus Catholic School. It would also be a tremendous disservice to our children and families. Her knowledge, passion, and leadership have made St. Linus not just a school, but a thriving community united in faith and learning.
We the parents, families and community members of St. Linus demand that Ms. Do has her contract renewed and continues on as Principal of St. Linus School.

Ms Do was my teacher 20+ years ago. Outside of teaching excellence in academics, Ms. Do taught me lessons about life that I have used over the last 20 years. She has taught my siblings and made significant impact in their lives as well.
As a St Linus Alumni and current parent of St linus school, I can say Ms. Do is an amazing teacher and Principal. She has gone above and beyond for our children. I pray that she continues to lead our St Linus community in her Principal Role.
I have been a member of St.Linus since 1965 and I have seen a lot of crazy stuff go on at this Church,but the school has always been A good place and this principle has taught all my grand children and they love her.Dont try to fix what isn’t broken

As a fellow educator, sometimes I find that when the community responds to things I do in a negative way, there may be an opportunity for further reflection. St. Linus families are now asking for that reflection, and I urge you to reconsider replacing Ms. Do.

Here are some updates: We had 111 out of 134 St. Linus School families sign a letter in support of Ms. Do We have had over 1100 signatures with over 250 positive comments on our petition supporting Ms. Do We dropped off a binder to both the Archdiocese as well as to Father Eras with evidence of all the amazing things Ms. Do has done for the school and supports the fact that St. Linus School parents want Ms. Do to stay as our principal Parents have been emailing Father Eras requesting a Town Hall Meeting so that we can understand his reasoning for this decision. The PTO has requested a meeting with him and it has been denied. We have even offered to have a meeting with him and someone he feels supports him and one set of parents and he has refused. Parents have also been emailing Bishop Trudeau, Mr. Escala, Ms. Zozaya and Mr. Cuevas (all people who have a part in Ms. Do’s contract) to show support. Lastly, parents are currently filling out a survey that contains questions that will give data to take to the Archdiocese and School District Offices with further evidence to support Ms. Do. Some things you can do to continue to help: Forward the petition to family and friends to sign and show support. To Jason and anonymous, as a true stockholder and parent of St. Linus, I find your interpretation of the facts quite frivolous. We have repeatedly requested a town hall meeting with Fr. Eras to hear his reasoning, yet he has been reluctant to disclose any such reasons. Unless you are Fr. Eras himself, openly admitting these reasons, your opinions are irrelevant and hold no weight. Speculations and assumptions surrounding the non-renewal of Ms. Do’s contract remain invalid until Fr. Eras provides clarity in a public forum. Regarding anonymous’s message, let’s correct some inaccuracies: Ms. Do served for 25 years, not 30. That alone is sufficient to discredit your entire argument. Furthermore, I suggest you educate yourself on what it truly means to fundraise and raise money, as well as compare the costs of other Catholic schools in our area and associated statistics. When something is new, depreciation is inevitable—it’s called wear and tear. Students defacing bathroom stalls, leaving waste, or failing to flush toilets is not a reflection of Ms. Do’s performance. Instead, it speaks to the upbringing and habits instilled in those students at home. I find it troubling that you’ve chosen the condition of the students’ bathroom as one of your primary arguments. Furthermore, it raises questions as to why you are in the students’ bathroom observing and taking note of such details. Placing blame on Ms. Do for these issues grossly overlooks the broader context and disregards her numerous contributions to St. Linus. I strongly encourage both of you to reach out to Fr. Eras and request a town hall meeting. This would provide an appropriate platform to address and discuss all of these concerns in a transparent and constructive manner.

My name is Grady Atwood and I am in the 1st grade. Ms. Do is the best because she helped make our new playground and the field so I can play soccer and have fun with my friends. She helps all of us learn and pray together. Please keep her as our principal!
