The West Clark Community School Board made a decision at their board meeting of August 12, 2010 to further suspend Lisa Nale for 90 more days without pay. They further are demanding that she never be more than 2 hours away from the area without permission in writing. She also can not be near a nightclub, bar or similar establishements including a restaurant that has a bar where it may be perceived that she may be consuming alcohol. These restrictions would stay in affect for the term of her employement with West Clark Community Schools. The board is essentially driving her to resign as there could be no way to defend any allegations going forward. In Lisa's suspension to date she has submitted to drug tests, attended AA meetings, counseling and other requirements from the board to show her commitment and dedication to move forward. Lisa has been an outstanding Principal at Borden High School and we as a community stand behind her and demand that she be given a second chance and reinstated immediately without further delay. The elected school board members need to realize the support that we have for such a strong advocate of our community school and enact this reinstatement.
