we just got the word that leylani is stepping down from the chair position. thank you for keeping the pressure up and ensuring our school values actually mean something. lets keep an eye on how things transition from here.

Final supporters
Many students have made it clear that because of a current situation that involved one of the student leaders for blue crew, they do not feel comfortable with having Leylani Godingez as a leader because she has shown the opposite. With the current situation on protests and much more it has come to the attention of many student that Leylani has made a statment that was very derogatory toward the situation because of such statment many student do not feel comfortable having her as a leader to represent Blue crew. A club that is meant to represent the student body as a close nit school that is proud to be a blue devil and who care about each other as a community and that has not been shown from Leylani. So many student ask for her position as blue crew chair to be removed.

Her comment on the murder of George Floyd was extremely inappropriate, ignorant, and insensitive to the plight of African Americans who are now currently protesting against police brutality against defenseless, unarmed black males as well as the centuries long issue of white supremacy in America.
If your response to our current political climate is to disrespectfully post photos of you and your friends having fun and then dedicate a post to belittling George Floyd’s death and dismissing his cause, you should not be representing a school that prides itself in its diversity and leading chants in front of our mostly black football team.
She deserves it. How is she supposed to represent Norcross when says things like that? It's time to hold the privileged accountable.
She is entitled and privileged we don’t need her representing the diverse atmosphere of Norcross high school
