Hi Y'all, This is a petition to hold a recall vote for the Secretary of Club Cheer, Michelle Mitchell. A recall vote is a practice outlined in our bylaws that happens when removing an officer from Cabinet/Executive Board for not meeting requirements, upholding expectations, and/or not fulfilling their duties. Club Cheer has a long history of success and influence on our campus. As a Cabinet we are proposing to remove our current Secretary from office on the grounds of unfulfilled duties and the inability to fulfill the time commitment. If this petition moves us to a vote and the vote is in favor of removal from office, the Secretary position will open up immediately and elections will be help for the position. This is no reflection on her as a person or a part of the team, but simply a business decision for the betterment of the team and its functionality. We are looking to protect the best interests of the team and hope that you understand we are just trying to ensure a successful semester/future for this team. Go Beach!
