Hailey Hutto has made racist comments on her Facebook, and in the past, she has told a girl to kill herself, and is an awful representation to the Marching Rebel Band. Her being in the band after making said racial comments is a threat to the poc members of band. She needs to be held accountable for her actions and receive consequences.
I have been hearing from so many band members who feel unsafe and isolated because of these comments. It is heartbreaking to know that the very people who should be building a community are instead fostering this kind of hostility.

The momentum behind this is overwhelming and confirms that so many of you see exactly why this environment is no longer safe. Seeing this grow proves that we refuse to let hurtful behavior go ignored in our band community.

Been graduated high school for a year now. I do not condone the actions of a person who chooses to harass my friends because of the color of their skin. Hailey needs to suffer the consequences for the people she has harassed. I hope Hailey accepts responsibility and learns from her mistakes, and needs to go ahead and do it while she is in school because once you graduate and still talk like this to people; I'll just say that not all people will be nice about it.

As the former Drum Major for 2008 and 2009 this type of behavior is a disgrace to the Marching band culture and can't be allowed. Much of the marching culture and styles therin were influenced, or created by people of color. Her actions are a disgrace to the memory and legacy that is marching band.

This girl has done so much crap to me to the point she reached out to my sister while she was at work and was saying something about a black boy being a pedifile

There is proof of her calling African Americans the N word. This has everything to do with your school. If you allow this, then that says a lot about what kind of school you are and what you allow. You already have a history of being a racist school. It’s time to step up.

She & her father Tray Hutto repeatedly called African Americans, the N-word. She never apologized for this. This should not represent atco rebel marching band.

She shouldn’t just be kicked off the team but she should also have extra penalties against her.
