This is a petition to get Linda Kate removed as Juvenile Judge. When any Judge sits on their bench and plays the role of "God", its time for them to go. I went to court the other day with my son and was shocked at what I saw and heard. There was a young man in the courtroom for having 2 concealed weapons on on school property, the punishment for this was 10 days in Juvenile Detetion Center(suspended), and court cost, THAT"S IT!!! My son was in there for a probation voliation, for a school detention. My son didn't just get to walk out, he was sent to the Center On December 22,2009 and not given a day of release. In this process, she called me up to the bench and preceded to yell at me, telling me I was not a good mother and I don't care for my son, and if I didn't want to deal with him she would place him with someone that would care for him. Mind you, this happen all in front of my son, I'm sure the words hurt him, as they did me. Now, I am a christian mother doing the best I can with my boys as any parent does. When someone judges you upon no facts of any sort this is wrong. I do not feel a mother should notbe humilated in front of a whole courtroom, and her own son just so the judge can throw authority around and feel better about herself. I have the original transcript from the hearing that can be read, to show she had no cause to act in this way. It will be posted on facebook. I hope you view the information and even research more about the way this judge handles the parents that come in the courtroom. I am asking for you to then sign this petition to remove a unworthy judge, so we can get one in there that cares for the kids and Respects the parents. Thank You
