We urge The Douglas County Board of Commissioners to reject the application submitted by DCT Industrial to build four industrial warehouse or distribution facilities totaling 1,463,820 square feet on 139 acres near our Sweetwater Community. This warehouse will negatively impact the standard of living for all residents at this community by introducing additional traffic (900 vehicles and 300 trucks); increasing noise levels and ultimately lowering the property values of all residents of the Sweetwater Community and neighboring communities.

My brother in law is a war vet, he has PTSD. They moved to Sweetwater because it was peaceful. If approve this rezoning it will have major consequences to his health. Take your trucks elsewhere! Not fair!
7763 Parkside Dr, Lithia Springs, GA 30122. This would have a direct impact on my property value alone with increase traffic, noise and other environmental issues. I vote NO!
Please reject this application. Our community has suffered enough in terms of property value. It is very peaceful and I would like for it to remain that way. Surely there is land along Camp Creek or Riverside commercially zoned to accommodate this facility.
We move here in 2004 for the quiet environment , but 11 yrs. later, home value underwater, you now want us to be enclosed by Inous trial Complex which further assures that home values are doomed to not recover. Please don' t do this to us!
Re-zoning residential area to an industrial is wrong! 1st, all residential neighborhoods should be consulted, 2nd, the area does not allow for traffic increase without affecting more the already difficult access, in and out, off the communities; 3rd, properties will immediately lose value for what is explained in the Reject request. I leave in Sweetwater community.

It's already a hassle during rush hour getting on/off Thorton Rd!!! Clearly we do not need any additional commercial vehicles!!!

Traffic congestion is already an issue on Thornton Rd. Accidents have increased in number and in severity over the past couple of years. Adding this type of venture jeopardizes our physical and fiscal health.
