Please reconsider and deny the IDI Gazeley request for rezoning and annexation! City Council 12/21/15 Meeting Items (22-15-57; 22-15-58; 22-15-59) The rezoning and annexation will adversely impact all of the residents of the Sweetwater subdivision.
I oppose the rezoning and annexation for the following reasons:
- I don't want to compete with a hundred or more Tractor Trailer trucks to exit Preston Boulevard on a daily basis.
- I don't want to add more time to my morning and evening commute.
- I do not want to be sitting in backed up traffic trying to exit and enter my neighborhood.
- I don't want my quiet neighborhood filled with industrial fumes and all the noise that comes with an industrial complex.
- I don't want my property values to plummet. Who wants to live in an area that is filled with industrial fumes, truck traffic and noise?
Please consider how you would feel if this industrial development was erected in your neighborhood and how this would impact you, your family and your livelihood!

We do not need trucks of that size competing for space as school buses and children travel the only entrance to our communitya
Please let this serve as my notice that I am against the annexation and want the area to stay residential. I run in the area and it's already difficult due to lack of side walks and existing traffic. Increased truck traffic will make it in possible to do it safely.
Why keep this land grabbing! Stop it by changing the city council for new members? Is it because the city of Douglasville needs more tax $$$ . If so, what are we getting in return? Infrastructure improvements to fix the damaged roads due to increased truck traffic or just fattening the City coffers?
I strongly oppose the proposed rezoning of a zone that is next to a 500+ family residential area for more than 13 years, it is not correct to prioritize foreign, individual, business interests above a community
Reside at 7627 Forest Glen Way - I ask that you not suppor the request for this type of industry to exist within a residential community with seniors, children and working parents who rely on the safe guards built into our city and county.
How inconsiderate to ignore the fact that taxpaying PEOPLE live where this monstrosity is proposed to be built.
This is a HORRENDOUS idea!!! There are plenty of areas in the Douglasville area to build this type of construction. Go somewhere else. Our community only has 1 road to enter and exit. Thanks! Chenoa Douglass

I oppose this build by IDI Gazeley due to the amount of cancer causing pollution that would be produced daily by 100-200 diesel trucks idling constantly.
