We are taking this action in hopes of reinstating Dr. Feit as the athletic director of FAU High. We were notified that he has been dissmissed from his job as athletic director and coach, and feel that this action is not in the best interest for the athletic program, and the athletes on a personal level because of the influence he has had on our experience at FAU High.

Seeing all this momentum build up for Dr. Feit is honestly surreal because I really just started this out of frustration in my room one night. It feels like everyone is finally realizing what we lost when he was let go and that kind of energy is exactly what we need to keep pushing forward.

Coach feit is one of the reasons I choose to go to fau high instead of another school I really wanted to go to. He has done so much for me and the athletics program and he deserves to continue to keep doing that. Sports will not be the same without him there I was really looking forward to playing for fau high in basketball and track but this decision has made me rethink.
As a mom who worries about every little thing, I can say I never worried one little bit, about our son under Coach Feit's care. We knew he was in the hands of a very caring Coach, who always put his players first. Dr. Feit cares about their conduct off the court, as much as on. He turns players into gentlemen.
Dr. Feit was both a remarkable coach and authoritative figure at A.D Henderson and FAU High school. His contributions towards developing the athletics program display his dedication and motivation. His role as a teacher exceeds that position in many students' lives, given his genuine desire to understand the values of the students at both A.D Henderson and the high school.
There wouldn't be an athletic program at the high school level or any championships at both the high school and middle school level without Dr. Feits contribution to the culture of the school.
If Feit wasn't the Atheltic Director i would've left the school a long time ago. He actually put the effort in into showing you how to play a certain sport. He offered extra practice for those who wanted the work and had meetings to show you how you could become better. Not too many A.D. 's would do that.
Coach Feit is the only coach I've ever had who put us, the kids, first. He woke up early every morning to help us at LA fitness and teach us not only to play the game but to respect it. This schools basketball program was the laughingstock of the whole county, and is now one title away from a three peat. That is all because of coach Feit. If he does not comeback, I doubt this team will win anything. He not only built the program, he IS the program.

Coach Feit is the only reason that I played high school varsity basketball and the only reason that I got to know anybody at FAU High. The basketball culture would be nothing without Coach and it's sad that he was dismissed like he did nothing for the school.
