We, the people of the Edison High School Community,
petition the suspension of head girls’ Track and Field coach, Jeanne Formosa,
and support the reinstatement of her as such. The reinstatement of Jeanne
Formosa is necessary in order for the athletes to perform at their expected
levels for the approaching meets: Orange County Championships, Sunset League
Prelims and Finals. It is crucial that she return seeing as she instills
charger pride, sportsmanship, and an excellent running education within the
young women on the Track and Field team preparing them for each of their futures.She also encourages model citizen ideals within every young woman and prepares us for life beyond high school, it is through her coaching abilities and moral standards that each athlete owes their accomplishments.

The administration remains silent despite our constant outreach. We are currently preparing a formal letter to the school board to demand answers.

I don't know Jeannie personally but I support this for what she had done. She stood up and did the right thing. Something people don't do anymore these days. Talk is cheap action speaks.
my daughter has grown so much under her leadership. really hope she gets her job back soon.
Coach Formosa is a staple at Edison. cant believe they would do this right before league finals. bring her back.
Total incompetence by the school board. keep sports about the kids not the politics.
JEANNE IS THE BEST COACH EVER. she actually cares about us and doesnt just treat us like numbers on a roster.
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere

Love the support for such an amazing coach!! Jeannie has done so much for Edison Cross Country and Track Field women athletes! Jeannie goes above and beyond to adhere to all CIF standards and ensure success to all her athletes!
