Coach Feit is the only coach I've ever had who put us, the kids, first. He woke up early every morning to help us at LA fitness and teach us not only to play the game but to respect it. This schools basketball program was the laughingstock of the whole county, and is now one title away from a three peat. That is all because of coach Feit. If he does not comeback, I doubt this team will win anything. He not only built the program, he IS the program.

Coach Feit is the only reason that I played high school varsity basketball and the only reason that I got to know anybody at FAU High. The basketball culture would be nothing without Coach and it's sad that he was dismissed like he did nothing for the school.

I posted earlier, but somehow my comment was deleted rather than responded to. In what possible way the following inappropriate: Wow! I heard he had to reapply for his AD job as a part of the school having all teachers apply for their "after school club and activities" but not fired!!! What happened? If he got fired it would have to be something really bad, right? He did such an amazing job so what could have happened that they fired him!? Please let me know what you heard!

When I came to this school Coach Feit welcomed me to this school with the widest arms and he welcomed me to the basketball team. He encourages all of us every day to do our best and become the best that we possible can. He is the back bone of not only FAU high basketball, but every sport at this school. He is very passionate about the program and there is no team without him. He takes the time to recognize and respect all his players and he really does emphasize dedication and family. At any given time he is willing to connect with us more and more. I will not participate in any sports if he is not apart of them.

Coach Feit is an amazing coach! He deserves to still be the athletic director because of how he helps the players self esteem, athleticism, and courage during the games and outside of games. I think he should stay the athletic coach because he is definetly one of the best coaches ever!

I've known Coach Feit since my 7th grade year at Henderson, which was in 2010. As someone who has experienced the FAU high program when he was not the athletic director, it is quite sad he lost this position that he has worked so hard for. Coach Feit has been an inspiration for many of us. He became more than a coach for a lot of us, and myself included. Before Coach Feit took over the program, it was a laughing stock, I was embarrassed to say I played basketball for FAU HIGH quite frankly. Coach Feit gave us a sense of pride and dignity that no one can take away from us. Coach Feit arrived every day during the summer at 8 am until 8 p.m. to work on numerous things. First conditioning then individual skills then team practice. During springs he would take stay until 10 p.m. to work with me one on one so I could become a better player. Even though me and him did not meet eye to eye on every issue he was someone I always knew I could depend on for the rest of my life. Coach Feit has given up many things before basketball. One day he had a date and practice stayed late by 20 minutes to work on our game plan for tomorrows game. His date got angry at him for being late and cancelled. He constantly showed how he cared about his students more than his personal life. To fire him is a cruel injustice to someone who has given his entire life to basketball. Coach feits stress and health has gotten worse since he coached me but he still has not given up on the athletics here. Coach Feit is the only reason I played high school basketball and became a decent starter for him. I can not stress the cruelty of firing him. Whoever the administration is I plead with you to rehire him, as this act is utterly cruel and undignified. Don't make this school to a place where students are ashamed of there athletic program. Coach Feit not only is one of the greatest people I've ever met, he's one of the most compassionate and caring individuals of them all.

When I heard the news this afternoon that Coach Feit had been released from a close friend, I was shocked. Ever since I have been attending FAU High, Coach Feit has transformed the athletics program to a level that little people would expect from a school that is so academically based. I am part of the High school varsity soccer team, swim team, and track and field team for 3 years now and the experience has been unforgettable. Even though I do not have a strong personal connection to coach Feit the impact that he has had on our athletics program is undeniable. To not have him driving us to strive for greatness as student- athletes I do not believe that we can reach our maximum potential in athletics. It will be a great detriment to our school if he is not re-instated. Thank you for your consideration

I was lucky enough to have Coach Feit as a teacher in my years at Henderson. While I was not involved in sports, I can easily say that he is one of the most supportive and kind-hearted people I have ever met. He has been there for me for as long as I can remember. I will be attending FAU High in the fall and I peak for everyone when I say that the athletics will not be the same without him. While ADHUS/FAU High aren't specifically know for their sports, Coach Feit made them great and a place where everyone felt welcome and wanted to be a part of. Coach Feit has impacted my life in many ways and I know that he has touched the hearts of many others.

I have known Coach Feit for a while now, and ever since the day I met him, I knew he was a great person. Coach Feit was always kind, caring, inspiring, and passionate about what he was doing. I was blown away by how selfless Coach Feit was to everyone. Whether he was taking away his time to help them with schoolwork, or help with basketball skills. Coach K has always been a great friend to me and I have a great respect for him as a coach, and especially as a person. I do not know the reason he was dismissed as Athletic Director and Coach, so I cannot judge the decision. I am just expressing my feelings on behalf of myself and The FAU high students as a whole. Everyone loves Coach K and he will be missed by everyone. Coach K will always have a special place in my heart as a mentor, coach, and friend.

Dr Feit has been extremely instrumental in the recent success of the school, certainly in the athletic department but also in the classroom, and to let him go is not only a poor managerial, "business" decision but also an appalling human one, as the absence of his integrity, wit and dedication to the athletes, students and school would be a tremendous loss! Re-instate Dr Feit!

I wouldn't be a successful collegeiate athlete if it wasn't for Dr. Feit. He's been nothing but a positive impact and influence on me, and this narrative is not particular to me. Every student athlete that's come through the AHDUS/FAUHS athletics program has benefitted from his tireless work to reshape the athletic community as a whole. You'd be hard pressed to find a better coach, mentor and person than Coach K.

As a former student of Dr. Feit for 7 years, his impact on my life has been undeniable. He is a fantastic leader, and I am extremely disappointed to hear he has been dismissed. His goals to unify the student body and advance the atheltic department show his commitment to our students and our school, and as someone who has both gone to and worked for Henderson and Fau High, I believe losing Dr. Feit may be detrimental.

Although I never really participated in school athletics, Coach Feit has positively impacted, motivated and improved the skill level in the athletics in FAU. I believe that he should stay as the FAU athletics director.

With little to no help, The man has taken a school with a losing tradition and turned the tables. He pulled off 2 ECC Championships in a row at a school who hasn't won anything athletics related. He spends day in and day out working to elevate our program, not for personal gain but for the betterment of the establishment. Sure he demands a lot and has a very strict and regimented coaching style, but that is what is required for success. His removal is not only a detriment to FAU High School Athletics but to the school as a whole.
