To avoid the appearance of collusion and eliminate any concern related to conflict of interest; we, the undersigned residents of Holmdel, respectfully request Cathy Weber and Prakash Santhana recuse themselves from any discussions, reviews, communications, and votes related to the Charter Committee and their pending recommendation to change Holmdel’s form of government. We feel the close relationship between members of the Charter Committee with Mrs. Weber and Mr. Santhana – including the significant contributions they made to their campaign – has compromised the integrity of the effort. Their recusal will ensure an open, honest, ethical, and transparent process.
