For many at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX, Bubbleman was that beacon of positivity. Recently, Bubbleman was told to leave his spot at the bottom of the Alkek Library, and relocate off campus. As a student body we will not stand for this.
The decision to displace Bubbleman seems not only unnecessary but also an infringement on his freedom of expression.
For 10 years he has brought joy and positivity to students and faculty on campus, becoming a crucial part of the TXST experience and culture. Banning him from spreading bubbles where he pleases, is effectively denying the community a beloved tradition and silencing a freedom of expression. If we silence those who bring joy and positivity, what message does this send to the rest of the student body at Texas State? Silence is not the answer. I urge the Texas State University Administration to reconsider this decision. Let's bring back Bubbleman and ensure that his bubbles continue to inspire and uplift the spirits of everyone on campus.
Please sign this petition to show your support for the return of Bubbleman to the Alkek Library stairs. Together, we can save Bubbleman and his freedom of speech.

He is what keeps positivity going on campus! I would hate to see somebody that's trying to spread love and positivity throughout the day for students be taken away from Texas State!
