As teenagers we are told to go with the flow and just listen to adults because 'they are always correct.' We are supposed to keep our mouths shut, and never speak against authority, but I will not just keep my mouth shut about this. I am not a defiant student, but I believe what I am about to say was an unjust thing, and needs reconsideration. We the students have the a voice, and it needs to be heard.
Mr. Bogdan, a teacher at Waynesboro Area High School, was a replacement for the teacher before him; but he has been there longer than she was. Now let me tell you about Mr. Bogdan, he's what you call a blessing, especially in a small town like Waynesboro. Somehow though he's not being rehired next year, because he's still considered a sub. Which is complete nonsense, he is honestly probably the best teacher to set foot in that school. Mr. Bogdan, is one of the most dedicated teachers, I have ever met. He does not talk down to his students, he treats us with respect and understands us, which few to no teachers can do. I could write a novel about why he should not be replaced, it is unbelievably unfair. He wants to come back next year, and he deserves it more than anything.
Now please if you're reading this please sign this petition, it may not work but we need to try. I'm not only doing this to voice my opinion, I am taking a stand for Mr. Bogdan. I need your help though.

I have spent my afternoons lately talking with other students who feel the same deep frustration about losing a teacher who actually listens to us. The administration has not given us a clear answer yet but their silence only proves how much we need to keep pushing for Mr. Bogdan.

Seeing this kind of energy for Mr. Bogdan proves that I am not the only one who recognizes his value to our classrooms. It means the world to see so many of you acknowledging how much he has done for us.

Waynesboro needs dedicated teachers that treat kids with respect. That's how to get kids to stay in school. Signed a mom of two former Waynesboro students. Kudos girls for taking a stand.
As an Alumni I know how hard the teachers work to get the students excited and passionate about learning; don't miss the opportunity to keep a great teacher who does this!
Bogdan is the hands down best Teacher ever. History is not my strong suit but he made me understand and help me pass. He knows how to teacher, other than that the best person. He's funny and a great person. He can relate to anyone and helps everyone through everything. He need to come back to the high school as a permanent teacher.
Mr.Bogdan deserves a spot next year! He is one of the best teachers I've ever had I've never met a teacher in the Waynesboro school district who cares about their students education as much as mr.bogdan does. He undertsands his students which most teachers don't and he respects us and he has never once talked down on us or done anything to affective us negatively. He needs to stay
Bogdan is the best teacher ive ever had he is so laid back. He also knows how to make class super fun but you also learn history too this is why he needs to stay you dont find many teachers like him and we need more like him.
