This petition is to save the FFA chapter pig at Pine View Middle School from slaughter. Bubbles is a very friendly pig, and deserves to be loved! This petition will try to get Bubbles to stay at school, under the care of me, Taylor. Bubbles is an amazing pig and I love him very much♡ Please help me save him!

I spent the whole morning sitting with Bubbles and he just seems so happy even though he has no idea what is happening in the office about his future. People keep telling me the school board is just waiting for interest to die down but they really do not know how loud I can actually be when I am annoyed.

I really thought this might just stay between me and a few friends but the way people are showing up for Bubbles makes me want to cry (in a good way). It is wild to see so many people caring about one pig and I keep refreshing the page just to make sure I am not dreaming this up.

Taylor, thank you for being a leader, having compassion , and for trying to do the right thing. There are a lot of adults in this world that could learn a few things from you. I don't think any program at school should be allowed to have an animal that the kids are expected to care for, if the end result is the animal gets killed. The lesson in this is not a positive one. If the school can't keep the pig, they should find him a new home where he would be cared for properly.
Though I know where my bacon comes from, and understand the food chain, I don't feel it is necessary to slaughter a pig who has been of service to the students and loved by them as a pet rather than a food source.
Thank you for taking care of this beautiful animal. It sounds like he has been a good friend to the children at Pine View, and they owe him respect and care in return.
Pigs are smart, self aware beings. Let Bubbles live and teach the students compassion and empathy. Best wishes, Bubbles. Thank you Taylor for caring.

Please don't slaughter this sweet piggy! Pigs are one of the smartest animals in the animal kingdom. They make great pets.
