As construction continues on the Bowie Marketplace shopping center, so too does the outcry over plans for apartments to accompany the revamped retail center.
The owner and developer of the site, Berman Enterprises, is expected to submit an official proposal for an apartment building on the property this fall. But we - the residents who live near the site aren't waiting to voice their objections. here's a chance to let them know that this is a bad idea based on greed and will in no way whatsoever benefit our fine community.

Roads are already overcrowded in Bowie!! The traffic will not just affect Superior Lane, Rt. 450 but will spill over to Racetrack Road, down to Rt.3- getting to Rt. 3 in the afternoon via 450 is already a nightmare! Please consider the high school and library access which would be impacted as well!!
These are a bad idea and unnecessary
NOTHING good could ever come out of this apartments being built!
This proposed plan for apartments will only increase yraffic, add to the high rate of accidents in that area and threaten the pedestrians in the area (students and the elderly.)

Having apartments in this location will not attract people to the new center. It will push us to continue to travel to Crofton and Waugh Chapel.
