Dear Residents: An application has been submitted to the Department of Buildings for the erection of a 3 story 12 unit apartment building at 114-58 Farmers Blvd. The developer is currently seeking approval from Zoning. I'm sure when you purchased your home you did so because you wanted to reside in a residential neighborhood. Approximately two years ago, a 26 family residential building was developed on Farmers Blvd. These buildings may not be on your block or around the corner from where you live but it will be in your community. It will affect your schools, your traffic, your parking, your infrastructure, the light that once shinned through your window, the property value of your home, transportation, etc...ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. PERSERVE ST. ALBANS QUALITY OF LIFE

I am against this proposed apartment building because Farmers Blvd is already congested and the building will worsen the situation

There are abandoned apartment dwelling throughout Saint Albans and Jamaica that should be purchased and renovated to become occupied. Before building new ones.

The suburban character and appeal of our community is rapidly diminishing. eg. the huge monstrosity recently built at Farmers Blvd. and Dormans Rd; the numerous multi-family buildings that have been constructed on Farmers going south toward Springfield Gardens. We, the longtime middle and upper middle class homeowners of Saint Albans, do not want or need any more, typically shoddily maintained, “ affordable housing , “ especially where stately single family houses once stood. Please do not vote for any candidate, like Donovan Richards, who are aligned with real estate investors and developers that are at the root of this problem.

I am making copies to give out to people in the community . If they don't have a computer, how can they get their names on a petition
