Regarding the proposal by Zilber (applicant ZNS Engineering) to build 156 apartments with 300+ parking spaces on Tara Commercial Two Lots 5 & 6 and the Goodwill Parcel:

I OPPOSE the construction of the proposed apartment building in our community because of density, flood water, traffic, compatibility, and height concerns. I, along with my neighbors intend to vigorously oppose this type of construction in our Tara Community and wish for the Manatee County Board of Commissioners to vote against this project to preserve the integrity of the Tara DRI plan and my best interest as a homeowner. Apartments at this location are inconsistent with the Manatee County Comprehensive Plan as written.

Please do not allow,as we have enough problems at Tara Blvd/ SR70. Between car accidents,( do not want to lose another life) And the drainage problem, which is worse now with the runoff of storms coming from state Road 70 and 75.

Please reconsider this project due to the burden it would put on traffic at Tara Blvd and state rd 70, as well as water and sewage in our community. It also exceeds height restrictions. Thank you. Sincerely, Jenifer Bolcik 7675 Sweetbay Circle Tara Preserve

4 floors at 67 feet is so out of place. Please come by here. Nothing is over 3 stories and 35 feet. 43 feet at hearing was not true. That is only one small part of the roof facing east. Please do not let them destroy our quaint neighborhood and property values.

Traffic is already heavy and unsafe at Tara Blvd. and SR 70. As a Tara resident, I oppose the rezoning of Tara Commercial Two lots 5&6 for apartments. Thank you for listening to the residents of Tara. High-density development is not a good use for these lots.

I strongly object to the apartment project. It is too large, too busy, and not in keeping with the make up of the neighborhood where each unit is individually owned. That is a big difference compared to corporate ownership.

I oppose the apartment complex on Tara Blvd near SR70. The traffic is already congested near I75 and an additional potential 350 more cars would be a nightmare. There are plenty of vacant lots available on SR70 W that can be used for this complex. Not Tara Blvd.

This project will change significantly the character of our development for the worse. This project should not move forward.

I am opposed to an apartment building on Tara Boulevard.
