The current interim manager of Lake Shore Plaza Apartments (Related Management Co., Related Rentals, Related), JACQUELINE CHEATHAM, has engaged in a pattern of discriminatory, dishonest, unethical practices against building residents, maintenance personnel and front door staff.

The building has multiple housing code violations including but not limited to : dangerous elevators, exposed electrical wiring and outlets, household cockroaches, poor structural foundation, mold, possible asbestos popcorn ceilings. There is daily toxic smoke from residents filtering into apartments. There are criminal activities taking place.

Instead of addressing these issues, CHEATHAM has engaged in a reprehensible pattern of unprofessional behavior and harassment of residents, maintenance and doormen.

Related Management has not addressed residents' serious concerns about safety and what is at stake for those living at Lake Shore Plaza. Instead, Related has embraced a culture of management cover-ups and maintains a steadfast lack of accountability.

This is no longer a safe, healthy, clean or welcoming place to live or work.

Residents have ZERO confidence in current manager or her employer, Related Management.

Jacqueline Cheatham has to go! NOW

Related (Management Co., Related) must go! NOW

Updates

December 5, 2019

I have been compiling documentation of these housing code violations to present to the property ownership group. The lack of accountability from management remains a primary concern for everyone residing in the building.

The momentum generated by this petition demonstrates the broad consensus regarding the urgent need for change at Lake Shore Plaza. This level of engagement confirms that residents are no longer willing to accept the current management practices. We are now preparing to present these collective demands to the appropriate stakeholders.

Making up imaginary rules, telling us they can change the rules at any time without notice, charge for repairs (when it’s cover in our lease, harassment, they can terminate our lease for having an extra key fob( management/leasing gave them to me), etc

It's unfortunate the poor decisions of mismanagement have not been decisively/effectively addressed before this petitioned outcry. Residents, watch your own backs caerfully..... Perhaps, with inept manager allowed to remain in that seat, a major tragic event at Lake Shore, due to their negligence, will be the catalyst to highlight, dismantle and expel those not working on behalf of the greater good.

This manager is from hell. Very unprofessional, very dishonest and most importantly she is ruining the place we live (and work) in. Any company who hires a person like her and protects her wrongdoing needs to go. Cheatham and Related management must go

They are a company that’s all for themselves and not for the people. They had the worst Christmas party a week ago and when it’s time to do there job they don’t. They a terrible and we don’t need them here. Please bring our old company back that was before them
