Dear Mrs. Farooq,
As the current academic year draws to an end, we would like to humbly request you to consider not shuffling our children as they transition on from class 4 to 5. While we understand and appreciate the merits of periodic shuffling of classes, the basis for our request is that COVID-19 only gave our children approximately 1.5 terms of on-site schooling (i.e. not even 1 full academic year) and the corresponding bonds of friendship that are made in-person. Although the school does take into consideration the closest 2 friends for each child when shuffling, the reality is that children have larger groups of close friends.
We feel it would be potentially unsettling for our precious young ones if they are shuffled again so soon.
We hope that you would accommodate our request. Thank you in advance.

The children should get some onsite time. They have just warmed up to each other
It would be best for the kids if not shuffled this year..
