The Cemetery Commission finally agreed to enforce the standards we demanded at Pinelawn. It has been a long and draining struggle but our loved ones will finally get the care they deserve. I will keep watching the grounds to ensure this neglect does not return.

I am starting a petition and would appreciate your support! Our loved ones deserve so much better than this as their final resting place! For years we have watched as this cemetery has deteriorated and we're not backing down anymore! The North Carolina Cemetery Commission is allowing this to happen! Let's make our voices heard...please join me!

The state of the grounds is exhausting to witness but I am still pushing forward. We need to reach five hundred signatures to force a serious response from the commission. Please get this in front of anyone who cares about how our families are being treated.

One hundred people have signed on to demand better care for our loved ones. It has been an exhausting road to get this far but seeing this number helps me keep going.

The state of the grounds is draining but I am still here pushing for the dignity our families deserve. We are nearly at one hundred signatures and I need you to lean on your networks one more time to push us over that mark.

Took them almost 2 months after they received my grandmas headstone to put it down. And it only got done because I went up there personally and started to ask questions since I noticed a headstone was down nearby and the person had passed a month after her.

My husband and I purchased 2 spaces years ago when the back section was under development and well maintained. I am appalled at the conditions there now. It is surely not a garden of comfort for anyone wishing to visit a deceased loved one. We all deserve respect!!!

My grandfather was head guy over the grounds from early mid 50's to early 80's and you never saw it look like it does now. I spent a many of summers picking up pine cones etc. It's really sad to see the conditions it is in now.

I have dealt with this problem of unkept grounds for numerous years and even sent pics to NC Cemetery Commission, which I received no response. I keep up three graves, pulling weeds, using my own round up and fire ant spray. U have to do more than ride a mower!!

My late grandmother and grandfather have had flowers and other sentimental values that have been stolen from their graves. MULTIPLE TIMES. It's time that PineLawn takes a stand and puts forth effort into this (suppose to be) respectful resting ground.

Cemetery is in bad shape! Roads have many pot holes, grass always needs cutting, trash cans are full, many fire ant hills, fallen trees are still present from Hurricane Matthew. So sad to see this when at one time it was a beautiful place to lay to rest your loved ones!

Pine Lawn is disappointing. Parents are resting there & they always thought it was a premium cemetery. Weeds over grave plots etc.
