Petition to reinstate Mark O’Brien as Fire Chief of Ogunquit Fire Department

MArk O’Brien was unjustly and inappropriately terminated as the Ogunquit Maine Fire Chief. Any that know Mark know he has loyally served the town of Ogunquit for nearly 4 decades. They have a town manager that has jumped from job to job leaving a trail of disruption and carnage in her wake. Mark has had NO DICIPINARY ACTION IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER with the Near 40 years in the service. As the Fire Chief he has been faced with numerous large fires and scenes that any professional would describe as handled in a professional and strategic manner. He needs to be reinstated and given a compensation packet for he and his families unnecessary hardship!

This man has been like a second father and has done more for me than just about anyone. Deserves to be reinstated AND compensated, without a doubt!
Town Manager's "management style" should be up for discussion and lead to her termination. It is NEVER acceptable to keep the requirements and expectations of an employee a "secret" - that is taught in Management 101.
At travesty and total miscarriage of justice on behalf of the town manager and the three elected officials. Happy to say I didn't vote for any of them but will petition to vote them out.
I am a retired asst fire chief from York Village Fire. I have worked with Mark on numerous large fire scene's.Mark displayed the highest level of professionalism.
The town manager of Ogunquit has put her own self interest , in front of the safety and well being of the community ! Mark O'Brien , is a seasoned veteran firefighter, and Chief, who is dedicated to keeping the people and property of it's residents safe. An active tourist town such as Ogunquit, needs a man like Mark O'Brien, to lead it's Fire Department !
Have respected Mark and his entire family since 1981. Reinstate without a doubt!
