Dear Hickory Rescue Members and Officers,

As most of you may know, I have been permanently refused the opportunity to have a fair vote from the membership of Hickory Rescue to re-join the squad as well as banned from the property of the squad.  This was a decision that was brought up by a portion of the board members that have a personal agenda with me, not the entire board.  

During a time where volunteers as hard to come by, I ask that you be willing to support me in my endeavor to have the board of HRS reevaluate the decision to forbid me the chance for a fair vote.  I feel that I would be an asset to Hickory Rescue as I have over 25 years of experience in rescue and emergency services, am a paramedic with Catawba County, and have an array of rescue classes including extrication and search and rescue.

I ask that you sign this petition to support me in gaining the opportunity to have a fair vote from the membership to re-join the squad, despite the boards attempt to ban me from future votes.  Hickory Rescue used to be a place where everyone was welcome, everyone felt at home, and everyone felt like part of the family.  I hope to see the squad return to that state again one day.
