I spent the afternoon staring at the intersection on the 55 corridor and honestly it feels like taking my life in my hands just to watch the cars go by. People keep sending me messages about their own close calls and it makes me realize how many of us are just silently waiting for something bad to happen while the town keeps approving these new developments without a second thought.

I am concerned about an evacuation route on Avent Ferry Rd today and also when these new subdivisions are accupied. I do not feel a two lane raid is sufficient.
Yes, and they can look at Piney Grove Wilbon while they are at it! There was a wreck yesterday at PGW and Honeycutt.
I would like to submit a petition for traffic control device @ 55 And old adams road. Signatures are being gathered currently.
Adding more homes anywhere also increases traffic on radials, like Holly Springs Road. When is that road going to become a four lane road, all the way to Walnut Street?
Pls. consider placing a traffic light at the exit of the WalMart Center and cross street between the Harris Teeter center.

We are going to need as many voices as we can get to attend the Town Council Meeting on Tuesday 12/19. Everyone bring a friend!

The inconsistency seems to be a major part of the problem. U-turns only vs no U-turns causes confusion while lane switching. Frustration and confusion causes irritated drivers/aggressive driving creating a dangerous stretch of road. I’d appreciate an analysis of all accidents, not just major, or in the super street areas for this reason.
