We, the undersigned students of Cohort 7 ESL CW, would like to kindly raise a joint request concerning the summer holiday scheduled for August.
After reviewing the proposed dates and considering our personal commitments, travel plans, and the need for a proper rest period, we would like to suggest a revision to the current schedule. Our goal is to ensure that all students can make the most of their summer break while maintaining a smooth academic flow.
We respectfully ask you to consider the following:
Only online classes in August 2025 in order we to be able to travel for the summer holidays.
We hope this request will be taken into account with understanding. We remain committed to our studies and appreciate your support in helping us strike a healthy balance during the summer term.

It is very unfortunate that BSU & ESL did not take any consideration for their students when making this decision as this not only will cause mental stress but also disruption to summer holiday plans people have made with their families nevertheless it would not be possible for lone-parent who are studying taking part in both being full-time parent and study. Very disappointing indeed.
the whole organization is 0 that year, everything is on the last moment! no adequate calendar , we still don't know when is a first day of the second semester. we don't need that long break now, we need break when our kids are holiday ( August) to spend time together! there is no sense at all!
On our first day at university, we were promised that we would have at least two weeks of vacation every August.With the announcement of the final schedule for the next semester we saw that there was no respect for us and people with families and children!Unbelievable!
I am writing to kindly request an exemption from in-person classes during the month of August. The reason for this request is that school-aged children are on summer break during this period, and unfortunately, we do not have childcare arrangements available. We would be very grateful if the university could consider adjusting the schedule or allowing us to be excused from classes in August due to these family obligations. Thank you very much for your understanding and support.
Hello, I'm going home to Romania to my parents and I would like to do it online so I don't have problems with absences. Thank you.
You stress us to come on August, it is the only month that the school is closed and we can go to see our family and spend time together with our kids. The mental health is very important for all and you make us feel stressed. Also, Please forward it to other students as many students don't know about this petition.

Many students have kids, and August is the month when emigrants go to visit their old Parent’s and Grandparents. We don’t want to finish year earlier, we want holidays in August.
