We would like to ask the Peterborough City Council to reconsider this. The League have launched a petition and urges Clubs to complete the petition. Peterborough needs good quality sporting provision, it needs the facilities, the participants and the volunteers. Please support the football community.

I urge the PDC to have a re-think about removing the caretaking services. They should be encouraging people into sport but this will drive people away which is the opposite to what the PDFL are trying to achieve.
Paying the amount teams have to they should get this included as part of the package. A nail in grassroutes football coffin I fear!!
Surely we should be encouraging youngsters to play a sport by providing the best possible facilities. I can't help feel that removing the caretaker service does precisely the opposite, please reconsider.
This will have a massive impact on teams playing football in the Peterborough area. with likely disputes, health issues and detrimental impact on Council buildings it will prove a false economy in no time.

The biggest impact this with drawing will be on the junior football across Peterborough so a rethink is needed by the city council.
