The rule to limit space share productions to 90 minutes stems from the desire to stay within the smaller allotted PAC budget and to ensure each group in the space share gets their needed hours. Singers has never once come close to exceeding our share of the 60 hours, and has created a collaboration agreement with a group that understands and is content with our arrangement. For this reason, we, the members of Penn Singers Light Opera Company, believe we should be allowed to produce our musical this fall. It is one of the shorter existing ensemble-based, classically oriented musicals, yet exceeds 2 hours because thus is the nature of all such shows.
