The faculty and 8th grade students at Pioneer M/S do a fabulous job putting on Mystery Zone, the annual 8th grade fundraiser event. Their tireless effort is certainly admired and appreciated. We suggest that the following changes would alleviate some of the responsibility and result in a more enjoyable event for all participants.
1. Reduce the overall length of the program which typically lasts more than four hours to two and a half hours.
 2. Limit the number of acts in which any individual student participates. The current system puts a great deal of responsibility on a small number of students and excludes other students who would like to participate in the performance.
These changes would allow a greater number of 8th grade students to participate in Mystery Zone in a more meaningful way and put less pressure on a small group of students. Finally, a shorter program would be appreciated and enjoyed by a majority of the audience.
