RE: Kenneth Osburn ADC#079267Hearing date: Aug. 22, 2024

On August 27, 2006, Casey Crowder ran out of gas in Dumas, AR. Kenneth Osburn picked her up and instead of helping her he took her to isolated farm land. He then put a zip tie around her neck and pulled it as tight as it would go. It took a week to find Casey’s body. She was 17 and it was the first week of her senior year in High School.

Kenneth Osburn took a plea agreement stating that he was guilty. He was sentenced to 40 years for 2nd Degree Murder and Kidnapping. Kenneth Osburn has not completed half of his sentence.

We, the undersigned, Strongly OPPOSE, parole for Kenneth Osburn. Justice demands that he serve the FULL sentence given to him.

I find myself thinking about Casey every single day and the bright future she was robbed of in that field. The stories you are sharing in the comments confirm what I have felt all along because no amount of time behind bars can replace the life he stole from her.

Casey should be starting her life instead of being a memory that haunts our family every single day. We need to hit this next milestone to show the board that people are paying attention to the justice she deserves.

Please DO NOT parole the murderer of Casey Crowder Kenneth Osborn. Please make him serve the total 40 of his sentence. What kind of human being kidnaps a teen aged girl, murders her so cruelly, and hides her body in the heat of summer. How cruel is this man and I honestly believe that he SHOULD NEVER BE PAROLED.

He should not be set free due to him having a daughter and still committing this act upon a girl almost thr same age. If he can use a zip tie to kill, he's more dangerous than what we can imagine

Casey was a friend of mine in high school & to think they would consider letting this man out is sick.

This man took a plea deal to avoid a trial that would have resulted a much harsher sentence. He should have to serve all of his plea deal sentence for the brutal death he inflicted on Casey.

Casey’s murder changed my life forever. Nothing will bring her back to us, but this man does not deserve parole after admitting he took her life. His life is of no greater value than hers was. Please do not allow this man an opportunity to hurt anybody else. Our hearts will forever ache for Casey.

My personal opinion is that he should have to serve the full term with NO Parole at all. Casey does not get paroled from her grave and her family gets no parole from their grief.

He took her life and has cause so much grief! He doesn’t deserve to be released early! For the sake of Justice for Casey do not grant him parole!
