RE: Keithrick D Martin ADC # 110465 Date: 05/13/2021
William Ruesewald was fatally wounded on October 20, 1995 by Keithrick Martin.
Mr. Rusewald had flagged down the car that Keithrick Martin was riding in along with his brothers and another man. Mr. Rusewald was looking for a man named Tee and during the exchange, Mr. Martin pulled his gun and shot him to death. He dropped his gun and they left returning to their residence and talked about the shooting. They thought Mr. Ruesewald was a police informant.
Mr. Martin was given 40 years for 1st degree murder and 30 years for aggravated robbery. Mr. Martin has only served 24 years.
We, the undersigned, STRONGLY OPPOSE parole for Keithrick Martin. Justice demands that he be kept in prison to complete his sentence.

I honestly did not think this would gain so much ground but seeing everyone gather here is just wild and it really hits home how much this matters. It is overwhelming in the best way to see so many people remembering what happened even after all these years.

This was my cousin. His wife found out on the day of the funeral that she was pregnant.
The sentence says 23 more years for someone that doesn’t care about the pain he caused to the family and friends. NO PAROLE!!!
Please, do the right and just action and follow the sentence recommended for this criminal.
Let him stay in prison. Chip was my best friend as a kid and we never got to spend time together later in life because he was murdered..
I don’t think so. You don’t just kill someone, take a life, and play God then get out because you really really want to. Eye for an eye.
Please keep him from damaging other families.

That’s my friend y’all talking about. If you think a person at 41 years old is the same person that they were when they were 14 or 15 years old then y’all are just sick. Don’t hear anyone saying anything about Chauvin. Guess we’re going to live in a prejudice white world until Jesus comes back. Unforgiving but expect to make it to heaven, but have no mercy on another. Hope y’all bust Hell wide open
