Seeing this much momentum behind our request for fair parking is a heavy weight off my shoulders. I am exhausted by the constant silence from the council, but your persistence gives me the only fuel I have left to keep pushing for these changes.

Definitely need first half hour to be free. This would support local businesses enormously. In the long run of more business are supported then people will stay longer providing that parking is at a reasonable price.

There shouldn't be any parking charges for small shopping areas , to encourage people to shop.
About time they helped rejuvenate meir
Prices are ridiculous at the moment, there's not much to look at in Meir

The charges should be scrapped altogether. Meir needs a boost and charging to visit a few shops is criminal.

Shouldn't have to pay parking in Meir at all. A lot of people only nip in shops and it's not good for the few shops trading in Meir and no others will want to open a shop cause of the public being put off by parking charges in such a small town
