With car parking at Tesco’s reduced from 3 to 2 hours (except for Leisure Centre customers, who may remain for up to 3 hours), local businesses are concerned about the impact on high street shops. This petition advocates for better, more accessible, and longer-term car parking, as well as improved signage to alternative car parks in the Whitchurch, Shropshire.

Watching this list grow reminds me how many of us miss the days when we could browse our high street shops without constantly checking our watches. We are nearly at two hundred and fifty names and I need you to pass this link to your neighbors so we can show them how much this matters to our town.

I watch the counter climb toward one hundred names and I know this is the threshold where local officials finally have to pay attention to our struggle. Please send this link to a neighbor or local business owner right now so we can hit that mark before our meeting with the council.

It should not b allowed , we have noticed a lack of footfall in the antique emporium and I have heard people commenting that they have to leave before they have seen all at the emporium because they have to get back to their car. It's going to kill our lovely little town.

A disaster for the elderly and those with mobility issues. At the very least put in a pay and display so people can enjoy a day out in town. This is an anti human and anti trade decision. I will go to town and then shop at Lidl instead. A terrible decision by Tesco.

I was lead to believe this was a community car park, seems Tesco are acting against the interests of the town. I used to shop at Tesco and go for a coffee or lunch at Fiona's, the new restrictions mean I haven't time for lunch so I have started shopping at Aldi.

I occasionally visit Whitchurch to shop at Tesco then shop and eat out in town. 2 hours isn't enough to fit all this in. Whitchurch's loss is Nantwich's gain, as it's easy to find unlimited free parking in the latter.

I was fined after parking for 2 hours 10 minutes, I did my shopping in Tesco, then did shopping in the high street and stopped for a coffee, how are we supposed to support our local businesses if we are not supported with parking in the town

Third hour important...... Presently searching for official and legal agreements concerning the original agreement of assignation of land.....suggest that Tesco gave an obligation to the community of Whitchurch

Had fine after swimming and rehab exercise class and shopping at Tesco. Being disabled I'm slow getting changed and moving around. Not happy at all!

Please extend back to 3 hours or I shall reconsider using Tesco car park
