Shouldn't have to pay parking in Meir at all. A lot of people only nip in shops and it's not good for the few shops trading in Meir and no others will want to open a shop cause of the public being put off by parking charges in such a small town

The charges should be scrapped altogether. Meir needs a boost and charging to visit a few shops is criminal.

Definitely need first half hour to be free. This would support local businesses enormously. In the long run of more business are supported then people will stay longer providing that parking is at a reasonable price.

Car parking is dearer in Meir than anywhere else, you can park down longton for 2hours for £1-60

I don't use meir town centre due to the parking charges. Scrap them and more people would use the shops there.
