Using the kids because you're not happy about Rice College's co ed plans is very unfair, they miss out on a fantastic experience....very childish in my opinion

Incoming students were under the impression the musical would be part of their educational experience too. How has this community-wide rite of passage been axed with no consultation?

It is time for management to put the students first. TY is often considered to be a "doss" year and parents question whether to do. The biggrst reason is the social development of these young adults and the building of a social network that continues into their university years. This must happen

The interaction that that TY musical brings to these kids in the SHS and Rice college give them an invaluable experience to reconnect with old school friends and make new ones is an essential part of their development and education . Removing this experience from them is unfair and makes no sense . Please reconsider this unwise decision . Thank you

I feel that my daughter would have not signed up for Ty if we were aware of this decision. In a world where it is increasing difficult to forge good and real relationships. This is a step backward.

As a parent of a student in this class I really think it needs to be resolved. What message are we sending to our children when two schools can't compromise for the greater good of the children they are representing

Very bad decision and will make us think of our daughter staying in this school

We need forward thinking here. Our children have spent all of their lives mixed with the lads and will too after school into college and on to adult life. Collaboration between schools should be welcomed.
