Unfortunately, this year, the plan to replace the Carpool Karaoke with a different format has deeply disappointed many of us. Changing this tradition takes away a rite of passage that so many of us have looked forward to.
School traditions like these foster a deep sense of community and belonging among students.
By reinstating the Carpool Karaoke tradition, we can ensure that future cohorts of year 12 students experience the same joy and bonding that this unique celebration offers. We bring this petition forward to restore a tradition and to strengthen the sense of community within our school.

Would really like this to be continued for the students, it’s an event that they all look forward to - including the teachers! If there’s a reason it needs to be phased out, let year X know well in advance so it’s not pulled in the lead up to it.
Why the hell are they changing it, it is the funniest thing to watch and i would love t see this years one and i would love to do my own
Carpool karaoke is a tradition that younger grades also look forward too. It shows that between all the exams and stress students still have time to enjoy themselves. It is also one of the final times the yr 12’s get a chance to do something fun with each other before leaving SJC
I think it is a great way to end the year 12’s year! And a fun experience for the school to watch.
This tradition has been something that I have looked forward to for years it allows the younger grades to see year 12 in a not so serious light
Very disappointing it’s been banned. Please bring back.

I'm not familiar with this tradition but I support the voices of those who are passionate about it and encourage dialogue to resolve this with their voices valued
