Join the West Oaklawn neighborhood members of Clifton Place in opposing Storage Choice's application to rezone 2322 and 2338 Reagan street. Storage Choice is seeking a zoning change to build a mini-storage building and the neighbors oppose the zoning change for a myriad of reasons.

A hearing is scheduled for this matter on March 17th at 1:00 pm. Please show your support for Clifton Place by signing this petition and showing up at the hearing in person.

Updates

We have compiled the formal opposition brief for the upcoming hearing. Our legal representative is currently reviewing the zoning application to identify specific discrepancies in the developer's site plan.

The scale of this response is compelling and I have provided the updated count to the city planning department to demonstrate the level of neighborhood opposition. I am currently preparing the formal statement to be read into the public record during the upcoming hearing.

My grandfather purchased the property I live on in 1948. He'd be against this and so am I. This is NOT what the neighborhood needs.

They already have a storage place on Harry Hines near Medical Ave. About 3 minutes away.

It's not appropriate to build a storage unit next to residential townhome development. Surely this can't be the highest and best use of the land in a residential neighborhood.

This is an area of residential development. This is not the place to build a storage facility. It will cause the property value of the homes, that back up to the planned eye sore, to plummet. The amazing view of downtown, forever gone. The residents should be heard, loud and clear.

Please reconsider this proposal. The increase in traffic on this street, alone, will create an untenable conditions for residents as well as promoting the possibility of an increase in apt. vacancies. Vacancies will promote a decline in revenue, to include taxes to the city. Regentification of that area will go down the tube.

Live at 2401 Douglas. I think rezoning the land to accommodate the storage facility proposed by a New York company is a terrible use of land that could be better put to use by a local owner.
