The Petition of certain citizens of the State of New York
residing in Community Board 3 oppose a new liquor license for
a basement bar to include DJ and 4:00 a.m. closing for "The Derby, 167
Orchard Street".
d/b/a "Tiny Fork, 167 Orchard" the basement bar, dj, and 4AM closing was denied by CB3 and NY SLA.The
applicant is now re-applying as The
Derby seeking the same.
The Petitioners ask that CB3 and the NY SLA uphold their
previous decision to deny this alteration and expansion for this applicant at
this location.
Rob Shamlain's other venues, Fat Baby, Spitzer's, Loz Feliz, and defunct Mason Dixon, have wrecked havoc in our community. The Derby is doing the same. A basement bar with a dj is synonymous with a club. Deny this license CB3!
