Our neighborhood pools are open for just 26% of the year. Such wonderful resources are totally underused. This needs to change! We need everyone in Seven Meadows to sign so that the information can be taken to the next HOA meeting. After all, we pay for these pools but have to drive/walk past them closed during the hot summer months.
The feedback from neighbors has been consistent and frustrated regarding these locked gates during peak heat. I am gathering these signatures to present a formal demand at the upcoming HOA board meeting. Text three neighbors today and tell them to add their names so the board cannot ignore our request.

The momentum behind this petition proves that our neighborhood is fed up with these locked gates. Post the link on your Facebook page today and email your HOA representative to demand a meeting about our pool hours.

I don't think any of the pools are heated at this point if consideration is being given to having the pool open in non summer months

I would prefer it to be open to all to allow parents to teach their children water safety, but no one under 16 without supervision. Just my opinion

I want to use the pool for lap swim to train. Cinco has a similar system with one of their lap pools where it is swim at your own risk with key card entry.

As residents without kids, we utilize very few of the neighborhood amenities for which we pay. We would love for the lap pool to be available by key during off hours - winter, early morning, etc. - as it is in Cinco Ranch. Even a little additional time for lap swim would be wonderful. Do away with the 10 minutes an hour for adults only; it is utterly worthless to adults and kids alike, and block that time for lap swim or adults.

I've been thinking this for 3 yrs. I spoke with the HOA president and it seemed personal to him. As in "no one will get hurt on my watch." Which I can understand completely, however there's so many neighborhoods out there with self governed pools. It's a huge flaw in Seven Meadows that our pools are closed for the majority of the year. HUGE! And frankly it becomes an issue when selling a house. Open the pools and allow parents to watch their kids at the pool. If other neighborhoods can do it, so should we.

It's ridiculous that we can't use the pool without a lifeguard. I'd be happy to sign any release of liability paperwork.
